Smite Priest

Smite Priest explores offensive Holy spells with Discipline and Holy talents. Smite supplies the repeatable cast, Holy Fire adds a periodic component, and Penance offers a target-dependent follow-up. The same character can still heal, but a damage sequence and a healing sequence spend resources for different outcomes.

Current beta play is capped at level 30. Level 60 reference models and deeper talents are identified as later planning. Client descriptions and server updates can differ.

What this build asks you to do

MythicSim’s future 21/23/7 reference is an experimental damage profile, not a healer ranking or a current level 30 allocation. Searing Light provides a useful component interaction: Holy Fire’s periodic damage can make the next Holy Nova free. That is a conditional proc to notice, not a rule that every Nova has no cost. Choose whether the close-range action fits the situation before consuming it.

  • Offensive Holy casts can coexist with support choices.
  • A damage-focused mixed allocation sacrifices deeper healing or Shadow talents; proc timing and close-range exposure matter.

Choose the next action

  • Choose an offensive job for this encounter before following the damage package. Smite and Holy Fire use time and mana that cannot simultaneously be spent healing an ally.
  • Apply Holy Fire when its periodic component and learned Holy interactions will be useful. A nearly dead enemy may need a direct finish instead of a new setup.
  • Notice Searing Light’s conditional free Holy Nova preparation from an eligible Holy Fire periodic event. The event is not a guarantee that every Nova is free.
  • Choose Holy Nova only when its nearby targets and your position justify it, then consume the prepared state. Moving into danger simply to spend a proc can be a poor exchange.
  • Penance changes job with its target. An offensive volley is damage, while an ally-target cast is healing; the future 21/23/7 damage model does not measure that healing role.

Holy Fire can prepare a conditional free Holy Nova

Click through an illustrative sequence. Conditional effects require the named spells and talents; this is not a damage, resource, threat or timing simulation.

  • Apply Holy Fire: Use the learned spell and retain its periodic effect on the target.
  • A periodic event triggers the talent: With Searing Light learned, a qualifying periodic event can prepare a no-mana Holy Nova.
  • Choose a useful Holy Nova: Use the learned close-range spell only if its damage or healing is useful here, consuming the prepared no-mana benefit.
  • Return to a cast or support: Decide whether the next target needs damage or healing; the proc did not permanently remove spell costs.

    Understand the upgrade

Compare the actual offensive spells and target conditions rather than borrowing a Shadow damage weight.

Crit-related healing talents and damage procs are different; the model’s damage number cannot rank your healer utility.

These examples describe the pinned client baseline. Learned talents, buffs, attack type and actual encounter change the useful result; they are not universal stat weights. Spirit’s value must be compared through the full and casting regeneration your character reports, rather than a fixed Spirit-to-MP5 rule.

    Understand the upgrade
    Comparison Meaning
+10 Intellect +150 mana if existing effective Intellect is at least 20, before further modifiers; about +0.372 percentage points of spell crit at level 30.
    +7 Intellect from 19 The first-20 breakpoint gives +91 mana, not +105.
Spell/healing power Compare the affected spell or heal and learned rank; the coefficient and useful outcome differ.

    Questing and group play

Questing with Holy damage can preserve immediate access to support spells, but budget health and mana for the whole pull. In a party, make the damage/healing assignment explicit before a difficult pack. Do not abandon an endangered tank to reproduce a model’s next offensive cast.
