Waylaid Crates & Merchant’s Favour

Compare bundle prices, budget your deliveries and understand the trade-faction currency before you spend.

Choose one bundle

A typed Waylaid Crate lists alternative bundles. Compare the cost of one complete bundle, then fill the crate with that option. You do not buy every row.

Deliver the sealed crate

Alliance: Azeroth Commerce Authority, Three Corners in Redridge Mountains. Horde: Durotar Supply and Logistics, outside the Crossroads in the Barrens. Confirm your current hand-in offer and the sealed crate's quality before budgeting its reward.

Spend Merchant’s Favour

This currency buys profession recipes and other trade-faction rewards. A cheap bundle is useful only if the crate and recipe you need are available to your character.

Find the lowest-cost fill

Enter prices for one item. Compare a crate you own, or include the price of buying an empty one. Blank prices remain unknown.

30 typed crates · Native build 1.60.1.70205 · Checked 2026-10-04

Character-level fields filter the ledger; they do not prove current drops or stock. Artisan use requires future planning beyond the current level 30 beta cap.

Crate prices and observed Favour rewards

Enter an observed reward if the fill-to-sealed-quality mapping is unknown. The entered reward is assumed for every listed fill of that crate type; check that it applies to the fill you choose. This is your planning assumption, not an expected reward or a guaranteed bonus. Empty-crate prices are needed only in purchase mode.

Material prices

Gold / silver / copper per single item. Enter 0 only when you intentionally budget that material as free.

Budget for a recipe, not just a delivery

Merchant’s Favour is separate from reputation, experience and gold. The reviewed vendor guide lists Major Frenzy Potion’s recipe at 240 Favour, requiring Alchemy 290. The 1,000-Favour certification at skill 300 unlocks the Alchemist title; it is a separate purchase, not Artisan training.

Both are future planning beyond the current beta cap. Recipe currency and any trainer fee sit outside the Alchemy material bill.

Reported sealed-crate rewards

These reward references describe a sealed tier and quality. They do not establish which sealed quality your chosen material bundle will produce.

One accepted bundle fills a crate. Compare bundle totals, not the unit prices alone.

Material quantities follow current Forever item descriptions, cross-checked against the matching client build. This does not confirm how every hand-in works in game.

Every named empty crate has a native use-level gate: Apprentice 10, Journeyman 10, Expert 20 and Artisan 35. Artisan is future planning under the current level-30 cap.

The named empty crates are unbound in client data. The sealed variants bind on pickup, so a finished-crate auction purchase is excluded.

Sealed reward references do not prove which quality any specific fill produces. Enter your observed reward where the mapping is unknown.

The initial Shipping Label reward is separate from repeated crate hand-ins. No guaranteed Performance Bonus is included.

Favour, reputation, experience and cash are different rewards. Unknown quantities are not treated as zero.

A dated beta player report gives 50 Merchant’s Favor for the initial Shipping Label introduction. The reviewed quest pages do not expose its numeric currency count; this one-time amount is not added automatically.

Merchant’s Favor is priced separately from gold. No fixed gold-per-Favor conversion or cash reward credit is assumed.

Unit prices are entered by you, with no live Auction House feed. Ownership mode totals additional fill materials and omits the sunk cost of your empty crate; purchase mode adds the empty-crate price once per projected delivery. The tool does not subtract hand-in gold, value reputation, price travel, or predict scarce crate drops.

Favour-target rows repeat one chosen fill option enough times to meet the target and show any excess currency. They assume enough identical empty crates, sufficient materials and an unchanged declared reward. A mix of different crates may cost less; this comparison does not optimize mixed inventories.

Performance Bonus is not applied automatically. A chance-based extra reward is different from a guaranteed reward per delivery. The introductory Shipping Label reward is separate from recurring sealed-crate turn-ins.
